...HIGH END CRITICAL TO EXTREME FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS SUNDAY... The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 1 PM to 9 PM CDT Sunday. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 089 Comanche. * TIMING...From 1 PM to 9 PM CDT Sunday. * WINDS...South 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 5 percent. * IMPACTS...Any ongoing fire or new fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning should not be attempted.
Instruction: 
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Every effort should be made to contain the ongoing fires before Sunday afternoon to prevent quick spread and reignition.
