At 540 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bloomington, or 26 miles northeast of Phillipsburg, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe storm will be near... Franklin around 545 PM CDT.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central Kansas...and south central Nebraska. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
