...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING...
* WINDS...From the west-northwest this afternoon, then turning
more northerly mainly after 6 or 7 PM. Sustained speeds mainly
15 to 25 MPH, with gusts up to around 30 to 35 MPH.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...At least as low as 10 to 15 percent,
slightly lower in some places.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
