Description:
...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON-EVENING...
* WINDS...From the south, sustained 15-25 MPH, and gusting as high
as 30-35 MPH.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10-16 percent during the afternoon
in most places.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although relative humidity will steadily
increase during the evening especially within counties along and
east of Highway 281, this rise will be much slower farther west,
with some some counties likely not seeing relative humidity
improve above 25 percent until at least 10 PM.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
