Description:
Another round of precipitation is expected to occur overnight. An
additional 0.25-1 inch with localized areas seeing up to 3.5 inches
if storms train over the same location. Flash flooding is more
difficult to spot overnight, so be extra cautious.
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest Kansas, including the following
areas, Cheyenne KS, Decatur, Norton and Rawlins and southwest
Nebraska, including the following areas, Dundy, Hitchcock and Red
Willow.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM CDT /7 AM MDT/ Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become
clogged with debris.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
