Description:
At 943 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Louisburg, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Belton, Raymore, Harrisonville, Peculiar, Louisburg, Cleveland,
Freeman, Lake Annette, West Line, Chiles, Bucyrus, Stilwell, and
Wagstaff.
This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 160 and 172.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for east central
Kansas...and west central Missouri.
