At 449 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Spring Hill to near Louisburg to 6 miles northwest of Drexel, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Overland Park, Lee's Summit, Leawood, Grandview, Belton, Raymore, Gardner, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Paola, Spring Hill, Greenwood, Peculiar, Osawatomie, Louisburg, Lake Lotawana, Edgerton, Archie, Lake Winnebago, and Drexel. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35 in Kansas between mile markers 200 and 209. Interstate 49 between mile markers 148 and 180.
