...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Solomon River near Niles affecting Saline, Ottawa and Dickinson Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Solomon River near Niles. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Water begins to overflow into the low portion of a cultivated field on the right bank, upstream, adjacent to the gage site. At 23.0 feet, Rural overflow begins around the community of Niles. At 24.0 feet, Low land flooding continues along the river. At 27.0 feet, Arrowhead Road west of Niles floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 26.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tonight and continue falling to 11.2 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
