Lyon Creek near Junction City affecting Geary County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Lyon Creek near Junction City. * WHEN...Until late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, The north bank of the creek floods near the Highway 77 bridge. At 23.6 feet, The south bank of the creek floods near Highway 77. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.7 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
