Neosho River near Chanute affecting Allen and Neosho Counties. Neosho River near Parsons affecting Labette and Neosho Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Parsons. * WHEN...From Wednesday evening to Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Significant flooding of the flood plain begins to occur affecting agricultural fields. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 20.1 feet and is expected to rise. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 21.7 feet Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
