...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas... Salt Creek At Barnard affecting Lincoln County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Salt Creek at Barnard. * WHEN...Until early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Expect flooding of agricultural fields to an extent of 3/4 of a mile coverage. Flood waters cover Highway 284 east of the creek bridge to around 260th Road, expect road closure. Numerous roads along and near the Salt Creek flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Friday morning and continue falling to 17.9 feet early Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
