Smoky Hill River near Junction City affecting Geary County. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas... Mill Creek Near Paxico affecting Wabaunsee County. Chapman Creek near Chapman affecting Dickinson County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Chapman Creek near Chapman. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Lowland flooding occurs from near the town of Industry upstream from Chapman to the Smoky Hill River downstream from Chapman. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 20.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.5 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
