Shunganunga Creek at Topeka affecting Shawnee County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Shunganunga Creek at Topeka. * WHEN...From early this morning to late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Walkway along the Shunganunga Creek near the 21st Street bridge floods. At 17.0 feet, Shunga Drive near College Avenue floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:10 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 17.2 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage early this morning to 13.7 feet this morning. It will then rise to 14.7 feet this morning. It will fall to 5.1 feet this evening. It will then rise to 5.2 feet late this evening. It will fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
