* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kansas, including the following counties, Kingman and Reno. * WHEN...Until 1130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 834 PM CDT, flooding was reported at Smarsh Creek Campground at Cheney Reservoir. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen across the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kingman, Pretty Prairie, Cunningham, Turon, Murdock, Waterloo, Cleveland, Penalosa, Kingman Airport, Mt Vernon, Cheney Lake and Cheney State Park.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
