Kansas...
Stranger Creek at Easton affecting Atchison and Leavenworth
Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Stranger Creek at Easton.
* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 19.5 feet, Highway 192 just east of Easton is closed
due to swift current of water over the road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue falling to 2.3 feet Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
