Counties.

Mill Creek Near Paxico affecting Wabaunsee County.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River above Reading.
* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river flood.
At 21.0 feet, County Road Y 5 near the gage floods, 3 miles north
of Reading.
At 23.0 feet, Overflow on the right bank is in several swift
channels over Road Y 5, 3 miles north of Reading.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 21.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 2.6 feet
Saturday evening.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
