For the Marmaton River...including Fort Scott...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Marmaton River at Fort Scott. * WHEN...From early this morning to tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 41.5 feet, minor flooding begins in the Belltown area, north of the Marmaton River and west of National Avenue. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:47 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 39.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 38.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:47 AM CDT Saturday was 39.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 41.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall just after midnight tonight. It will rise to 39.3 feet tomorrow morning.
