Neosho River near Chanute affecting Allen and Neosho Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Chanute. * WHEN...From Saturday morning to tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, The right bank overflows and agricultural flooding can be expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.0 feet tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Saturday afternoon at noon CDT.
