Verdigris River at Altoona affecting Wilson County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Verdigris River at Altoona. * WHEN...From Saturday morning to early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Expect flooding of agricultural fields and gravel road near the river bridge off of Highway 47. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 14.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
