Black Vermillion River near Frankfort affecting Marshall County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mill Creek at Washington. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Osage Road, located 2 miles west and 1 mile north of Washington, floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 24.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 3.0 feet early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
