...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas... Little Blue River near Barnes affecting Marshall and Washington Counties. Black Vermillion River near Frankfort affecting Marshall County. Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. Mill Creek at Washington affecting Washington County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Barnes. * WHEN...Until late Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding occurs from 15th Road and Zenith Road in Washington County to Waterville in Marshall County. At 17.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, on the west side of Highway 148 floods north of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:02 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 16.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage this afternoon to 10.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to 16.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will fall below flood stage again late tomorrow evening to 4.9 feet Thursday morning then rise again. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
