* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Mitchell County in north central Kansas... * WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 356 PM CDT, Doppler radar estimates that 2 to 3 inches of rain have fallen across the area from earlier thunderstorms. Trained weather spotters reported that area streams were running bankfull in the advisory area, with water from upstream heavy rainfall also working its way through the area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
