Description: 
At 826 PM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Manhattan with water 8 inches deep over the road. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Manhattan, Junction City, Ogden, Grandview Plaza, Keats and Tuttle Creek Lake. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 290 and 308.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
