...EXTREME GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER ON MONDAY AFTERNOON...
.Southwest winds may gust over 30 mph at times as relative
humidity falls into the teens behind a dryline on Monday afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Fire Weather
Watch for extreme grassland fire danger, which is in effect from
Monday afternoon through Monday evening.
* Extreme Grassland Fire Danger...
* Winds...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* Relative Humidity...As low as 14 percent.
* Impacts...Any fires that start will spread quickly and be
difficult to control.
Instruction:
A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
