* Until 745 AM CDT.
* At 722 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Dallas Center, or 8 miles northwest of Grimes,
moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Madrid, Big Creek Lake, Saylorville Lake, and Big Creek State Park
around 730 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Big
Creek State Park, Kelley, Sheldahl, Alleman, and Minburn.

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the

floor of a building.
