* Until 500 PM CDT.
* At 422 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Palo, or near Cedar Rapids, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Robins, Springville, Whittier,
Paralta, Marion Airport, and Wanatee Park around 430 PM CDT.
Martelle, Viola, Stone City, and Matsell Bridge Natural Area

Anamosa and Wapsipinicon State Park around 440 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
