At 247 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Janesville, or 5 miles southwest of Waverly, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. A funnel cloud was reported near Parkersburg around 237 pm. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Waverly and Janesville around 250 PM CDT. Denver around 255 PM CDT. Readlyn around 305 PM CDT. Tripoli around 310 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Janesville, Frederika, Waverly Municipal Airport, and Readlyn.
