At 516 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Le Roy, or 12 miles southeast of Osceola, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Derby around 525 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Williamson, Red Haw Lake State Park, Derby, Lucas, Chariton Municipal Airport, Woodburn, and Russell.
