At 646 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 2 miles southwest of Columbus Junction, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Columbus Junction, Grandview, Columbus City, Letts, Fredonia, Cairo, and Louisa County Fairgrounds around 650 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Wapello, Sand Springs and Flaming Prairie Park.
