Description: 
At 1021 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fairbank to near Manchester. Movement was east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, minor flooding and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Slowing or redirecting of traffic due to ponding or flowing water. Closure of waterfront access due to flooding. Locations impacted include... Independence, Manchester, Dyersville, Jesup, Fairbank, Edgewood, Winthrop, Hazleton, Earlville, Lamont, Delhi, Colesburg, Greeley, Aurora, Dundee, Delaware, Masonville, Stanley, Oneida, and Wapsipinicon Golf Course.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
