Northwestern Clinton County in east central Iowa... * Until 1030 AM CDT. * At 935 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Whittier to near Martelle to near Mechanicsville, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Cedar Rapids, Maquoketa, Anamosa, Mechanicsville, Stanwood, Marion, Hiawatha, Mount Vernon, Monticello, Robins, Bellevue, Cascade, Lisbon, Solon, Ely, Springville, Preston, Olin, Sabula, and Wyoming.
