Description: 
At 819 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Leando, or near Keosauqua, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Mount Pleasant, Winfield, Birmingham, Stockport, Lockridge, Olds, Rome, Westwood, Mount Union, Douds, Leando, Henry County Fairgrounds, Oakland Mills, Glasgow, Morris Park, Mount Zion, Collett, Round Prairie Park, Swedesburg, and Kilbourn.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for southeastern Iowa. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
