* At 748 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles southeast of Russell to Allerton to 4 miles
north of Cainsville, moving east at 65 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. The Lamoni Airport recently
gusted to 64 mph.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Leon, Corydon, Lamoni, Lake Sundown, Rathbun Lake,
Seymour, Moravia, Moulton, Allerton, Humeston, Mystic, Cincinnati,
Lineville, Garden Grove, Davis City, Decatur, Exline, Promise City,
and Unionville.
This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 1 and 16.

and southeastern Iowa.
