Description:
At 852 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Newton Municipal Airport to near Lake Red Rock to
4 miles east of Lacona, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Newton, Indianola, Pella, Knoxville, Colfax, Monroe, Pleasantville,
Prairie City, Melcher-Dallas, Iowa Speedway, Knoxville Raceway, Lake
Red Rock, Milo, Hartford, Kellogg, Runnells, New Virginia, Lacona,
Lambs Grove, and Reasnor.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 35 between mile markers 43 and 44.
Interstate 80 between mile markers 151 and 154, and between mile
markers 157 and 173.
