Description:
At 614 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles southwest of Elliott to 8 miles east of Essex
to near Blanchard, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Clarinda, Villisca, Stanton, Elliott, College Springs, Shambaugh,
Braddyville and Grant.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for southwestern
Iowa.

building.
