At 603 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Lu Verne to Thor to near Otho to near Paton to near Bagley, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Fort Dodge, Jefferson, Dakota City, Humboldt, Coon Rapids, Gowrie, Fort Dodge Regional Airport, Dayton, Grand Junction, Coalville, Badger, Scranton, Otho, Lehigh, Churdan, Livermore, Callender, Farnhamville, Lohrville, and Harcourt.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for central, north central and west central Iowa. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
