* Until 500 PM CDT.
* At 400 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Troy Mills,
or 12 miles southeast of Independence, moving east at 75 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Manchester, Dyersville, Cascade, Epworth, Farley, Winthrop,
Earlville, Hopkinton, Quasqueton, Delhi, New Vienna, Colesburg,
Worthington, Holy Cross, Ryan, Rowley, Greeley, Luxemburg,
Rickardsville, and Delaware.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
