Description:
At 112 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Dyersville to near Pictured Rocks Wildlife Area,
moving northeast at 25 mph. An additional strengthening storm was
also located south of Prairieburg, which will move back into
northwest Jones county within the next 15 minutes.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Dyersville, Monticello, Cascade, Hopkinton, Worthington, Jones County
Fairgrounds, and Monticello Municipal Airport.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Iowa.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.

the Quad Cities.
