At 1141 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northwest of Earling, or 12 miles southwest of Denison, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported golf ball size hail in Dunlap with several windows broken on the west side of a home. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Earling, Irwin, Defiance, and Manteno Recreation Area.
