At 1141 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles southwest of Villisca to 2 miles west of Clarinda to 2 miles southwest of College Springs, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Emergency management. At 1127 PM, Emergency management reported quarter size hail in Essex, Iowa. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. These severe storms will be near... Clarinda, Villisca, College Springs, Shambaugh, and Braddyville around 1145 PM CDT.
