At 644 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wyman, or near
Columbus Junction, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Muscatine, Wapello, Columbus Junction, Fruitland, Grandview, Columbus
City, Letts, Cotter, Wyman, Fredonia, Sand Springs, Cairo, Louisa
County Fairgrounds, Snively Access Campground, Ardon, Muscatine
Municipal Airport, and Flaming Prairie Park.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois...and southeastern and east central Iowa.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
