* At 537 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Maharishi
Vedic City, or near Fairfield, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Wayland, Brighton, Ainsworth, Crawfordsville, Maharishi Vedic City,
Olds, Pleasant Plain, Coppock, Fairfield Municipal Airport, Noble,
Washington Airport, Perlee, East Pleasant Plain, Marr Park,
Merrimac, Germanville, Mac Coon Access, Salina, Lake Darling State
Park, and Swedesburg.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern
Iowa.
