* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Iowa, including the following counties, Fremont, Mills, Montgomery and Page and southeast Nebraska, including the following counties, Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee and Richardson. * WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms from Thursday afternoon into Friday morning produced areas of 2-4 inches of rainfall with locally higher amounts across the watch area. Additional thunderstorms are expected tonight with the potential to produce 2-4 inches of additional rainfall over the watch area, particularly over portions of Southwest Iowa. There remains uncertainty on where the heaviest rainfall will set up. A small shift north or south with the band of heaviest rainfall is possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
