Northern Scotland County in northeastern Missouri... * Until 645 PM CDT. * At 541 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Hitt, or 11 miles southeast of Bloomfield, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Milton, Hitt, and Brock around 545 PM CDT. Cantril around 550 PM CDT. Lebanon and Lake Sugema Campground around 555 PM CDT. Keosauqua, Mount Sterling, and Lacey Keosauqua State Park around 600 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Keosauqua Airport, Van Buren County Fairgrounds, Bentonsport/Vernon, Mount Zion, Bonaparte, Kilbourn and Farmington.
