Description: 
At 609 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sand Hill, or 9 miles north of Edina, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Kahoka, Montrose, Wayland, Wyaconda, Rutledge, Luray, South Gorin, Granger, Croton, St. Francisville, Greensburg, Revere, Arbela, Clark County Fairgrounds, Chambersburg, Ashton, Peaksville, Fairmont, Medill, and Argyle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for southeastern Iowa...and northeastern Missouri. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
