Chariton River near Chariton affecting Monroe, Appanoose, Wayne and Lucas Counties. * WHAT...Flooding is possible. * WHERE...The East Fork 102 River at Bedford, or from 8 1/2 miles upstream of Bedford to the 102 River in Missouri. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Water affects E Main St near the water plant as well as some residences near the floodplain on the southeast side of town. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.5 feet. - Forecast...Rises on the river are possible over the next few days. The river may reach flood stage. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
