Mississippi River at Gladstone LD18 affecting Henderson and Des Moines Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Burlington. * WHEN...Until late Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects low lying buildings and homes in Montrose and Niota. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.8 feet and falling. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Saturday morning and continue falling to 14.0 feet next Thursday, May 07. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
