Mississippi River at New Boston LD17 affecting Louisa and Mercer

forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Keithsburg.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water is over the campground and boat ramp
in Keithsburg.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The river is cresting now.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain around 16.0 feet
through Friday evening before beginning to fall.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
The next statement will be issued Thursday evening at 930 PM CDT.
