Muscatine Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Ill. City LD16.
* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, water affects the park at Andalusia.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Tuesday afternoon and continue rising to 16.1 feet
Friday, April 24. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
