* Until 215 AM CDT Thursday.
* At 814 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. 1 to 2 inches of rain has
fallen and Additional 1 inch of rain is possible. Flash flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Maquoketa, Mount Carroll, Savanna, Bellevue, Lanark, Preston,
Shannon, Sabula, Wyoming, Miles, Andrew, Monmouth, Springbrook,
Spragueville, Green Island, Hurstville, Fulton, Nashville, Canton
and Van Buren.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
